Renowned Pakistani artist Bugi Ansari inspiring the preservation of Kalash heritage

Pakistan’s  renowned  artist Muhammad Bugi Ansari held  an insightful mediabriefing at the Karachi Press Club, to inspire the nation for preserving the  fascinating  art,  rich  culture  and  ancient  civilization  of the Kalash Tribes, who  have  been  dwelling  for  centuries  in  the  beautiful  Chitral  valley,  located  deep  in  the  pristine  and  majestic mountains of Northern Pakistan.

The Kalash tribes have originated from the IndoIranian branch of the centuriesold Dardic civilization. Even in today’s modern era, these tribes have maintained their truly unique and traditional lifestyle, as they continue to practice their ancient customs and adorn their authentic attire, reflecting their rich culture.  Bugi enlightened the media about the value of traditional art, culture and customs, which are being recklessly destroyed by the modern societies.

He quoted an example saying; “It is heartbreaking to see that a few decades back, the Kalash tribes used to have 106 statues and wooden figures, created by their legendary artisans.  But  over  the  years,  all  those  masterpieces  were  taken  away  or  stolen  by  people  from  outside.  So today, only one of those precious figures still remains in that area.”  

Although Bugi Ansari had left his home thirty years ago, and is settled in Holland, the artist  has travelled  extensively,  spending  a  great  deal  of  his time  learning  and  advocating  the  preservation  of  the  Kalash  heritage.  These  deep  insights  are  also  reflected  in  his  socio cultural  endeavors  and  Surrealistic  style  of  art.  Bugi  has  been  promoting the traditional  work  of  the  skillful  artisans  and  children  of  Kalash  and  introducing  them  to  a  global  audience.  


During his vibrant mediabriefing at the Karachi Press Club, Mr. Bugi Ansari also unveiled a large, exquisite painting. This 40foot Mural was personally created by Bugi and gifted to  the ‘DarusSukoon’ a leading philanthropic organization, founded in 1969, by the Dutch  altruist  –Sister Gertrude  Lemmens.  It  focuses  on  providing  safeaccommodation  and  affectionate  care for the  disabled/special  children,  senior  citizens  and  homelesswomen,  who have been abandoned by the society. 

Huawei Going To Invest In A Major R&D Project In Canada


Huawei has been playing a crucial role in the technology world for the advancement of the technology and improving the quality of existing ones. Recently, Huawei has announced to invest $212 million in a major project of Research and Development expansion, 5G Ontario, in Canada. The said project is meant to advance and improve the telecommunication research that will further include cloud computing, data analytics, mobile security and other such initiatives for faster internet enhanced internet speed and quality.

Huawei will also create almost 250 R&D job opportunities under this project that will also play a part to even consolidate the Ontario as a province of highly skilled workers and global hub for knowledge. After the successful launch in London few weeks ago, now Huawei launched its all new flagship smart phone, Huawei P9, at an overwhelming event, held last night in Dubai. In the previous launching ceremony of Huawei P9 in London a few Pakistani celebrities joined Mr. Fraz Malik Khan, Marketing head for Huawei. Huawei is Committed To Improve Global Connectedness through Cloud RAN

Huawei has become the most celebrated brand in terms of customer priority, superior quality products, ever-enlarging consumer pools and most importantly in terms of revenue generating. Definitely, all this indicates the greater sales of Huawei products, most trusted services of Huawei and the confidence that Huawei has successfully attained in the national and international markets. Adding to this is the purely gentle and realistic marketing tactics Huawei has adopted where it has not only highlighted the products but equally concentrated to the larger benefits of the customers. 

According to the recently revealed reports on the last year’s revenue Huawei has demonstrated overwhelmingly outstanding  performance and even it stands out among the world top brands, beating them far behind in the growth rate. The report shows that Huawei has reaped a 37% increase in the year on year basis revenue generation. That is 395 billion in local currency or $60 billion. Only CNY 36.9 billion among this was the net profit for Huawei, which is again 33% more than the previous year.

Huawei’s all the three business groups can be listed according to the growth pattern as; Huawei Carrier group witnessed a 21% enhanced revenue generation as compared to the year of 2014 i.e. CNY 232.3 billion, Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group stands second in the queue  with CNY 27.6 billion that is 44% increase YoY (wide growth noticed in public safety, finance, transport and energy sectors.), and at last and the most important growth rate noted was from the Huawei Consumer Business Group with a 73% straight increase.

The Huawei Consumer Business group has put forward the huge revenue of $19.9 billion, which is incredibly higher for any brand with a short history for being in the market. Huawei has succeeded in performing better than the once great names of the technology world like Nokia, Erricson and Cisco.   

 MD for Huawei Devices Pakistan –Mr. Shawn said, “Huawei has always been on a long term strategy to invade the market with a rather better products and services unlike other technology brand. What we have achieved year after year is a clear depiction of the fact that Huawei is not a technology brand only, but it is actually a consumer’s brand with all its concentrations towards innovative technology products and the superior customer satisfaction standards.”

Mr. Shawn also said that for the next 3 to 5 years, Huawei has planned to particularly focus for enhancing connectivity alongside concentrating on the development of vertical businesses (industries) and redefining the networking capabilities. He also mentioned that all the business groups of Huawei has a highly integrated, coherent and progressive policies designed to achieve the ultimate goal with an utmost commitment to success.

As compared to the Huawei growth Ericsson announced a mere increase of 8% in its revenue with only $30 billion. Nokia came up with $14.24 billion, a 6% increment as compared to 2014. And the Cisco could only reap 4.3% growth year on year basis. This has been noted while probing the YoY growth of technology icons that the sustained pattern of positive growth by Huawei is majorly due to its heavy investment in R&D that makes it most advanced and the most superior in the world of technological innovations and subsequently it grows faster and with stability.



Microsoft launches Pakistan’s first of its kind Employability/Entrepreneurship Platform– Rozgar.Work



Microsoft, a global leader in technology and innovation along with its implementing partner, World Vision-Pakistan, has launched Rozgar.Work – an Employability and Entrepreneurship Platform. The Rozgar.work platform provides job-seekers with end-to-end career guidance, up skilling, job-matching and mentorship – all centred on a free online hub that brings the best resources together in a bold attempt to address unemployment and underemployment. The platform is powered by Microsoft Windows Azure Cloud, SQL, & SharePoint 2013. The Federal Minister for Planning and Development – Mr. Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest at the launch ceremony held in the Serena Hotel, Islamabad. 

Rozgar.Work is aimed at catalysing ‘Employability’ and ‘Entrepreneurial skills’ among the Pakistani youth. It is a Microsoft YouthSpark initiative to create a comprehensive ecosystem to support the talented Pakistani youth in enhancing their skill-set and ensure a bright future for the whole nation. Microsoft’s solution, in the form of its Employability Platforms, has previously landed in 16 markets to date including Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Qatar, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Algeria, Ghana, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and now Pakistan, and will expand to 21 countries across MEA including Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, Zimbabwe, Madagascar and Mauritius. Huawei Launches best Server With 32 Sockets


Huawei recently launched the first ever 32-socket x86 mission critical mission server. The server is named after a Chinese mountain, KunLun. This is one of the best innovations of Huawei in technology world and the socket will enable huge traffic to align on the server with better speed and quality. Moreover, an SGI was also described in an official presentation at the launch event that can further be extended to 64-sockets.

Certainly, Huawei has strong guts in every field of technology and it has the best innovative products to offer. Huawei has been growing with an accelerated pace in the markets across the globe as it has prioritized the customer’s need and focused deeply on R&D. The competitors of Huawei on the other hand facing difficult market situations in 2016 just like they had faced in the last year. Samsung KNOX Receives Most “Strong” Ratings of Any Security Platform in Gartner Report Mobile Device Security: A Comparison of Platforms


Samsung Electronics Co.,Ltd. today announced that Samsung KNOX 2.6, Samsung’s built in defense grade security that is ready for work right out of the box,received the most “Strong” ratings of any mobile security platform in the report “Mobile Device Security: A Comparison of Platforms” from Gartner, Inc..The report,published on April 6, 2016 compared the core OS security features built into twelve mobile device platforms as well as enterprise management capabilities.

Huawei Officially Begins Huawei Pay Service through NFC from China
