PepsiCo Pakistan & Cinepax Pakistan Further Strengthen Partnership


Romana Aziz Khan, Director, Key Accounts and Franchise Capability, PepsiCo Pakistan, and Mr. Hashim Raza, CEO Cinepax (Pvt.) Ltd. signed an exclusive agreement for supply of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages to all Cinepax cinemas in Pakistan. The ceremony was attended by senior management teams from both organizations.

PepsiCo Pakistan is the leading food and beverage company in Pakistan. PepsiCo Pakistan offers a wide range of refreshing beverages including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7-UP, Mirinda, Sting, Slice and Aquafina. The company enjoys a leading position in the liquid refreshment category and also has a very strong complementing snack business with brands like Lays, Kurkure and Cheetos in Pakistan.

Cinepax, the first national multi-screen cinema chain of its kind in Pakistan, is recognized as the country’s largest cinema chain, currently operating in 5 cities. Cinepax opened its first Multiplex in Pakistan in 2007 in Rawalpindi and has now expanded to a total of 18 screens nationwide with plans for rapid expansion to other cities in the coming months.

During the term of this contract, Cinepax plans to roll out 100 screens across 10 cities in Pakistan. Together, Cinepax and PepsiCo will deliver on their promise to Pakistan”.
